Accreditation

Oklahoma City Community College (OCCC) is in the process of preparing for the Higher Learning Commission Reaffirmation of Accreditation. As part of this process we have prepared the College’s Self-Study. Reaffirmation of accreditation is important to ensure employers, other institutions of higher learning, professional licensure boards and government agencies recognize the college’s degrees and certificates as valuable credentials. Seven Consultant Evaluators from the Higher Learning Commission will be visiting the college from November 7th through November 9th. During this visit they will be confirming the information we providing them in the self-study and asking questions verifying the college’s commitment to our student’s success.
